Texting

Texting is efficient in getting messages out there as quickly as possible, but it can also be annoying. One reason parents distance themselves from grandparents is to give themselves breathing room. When the parents communicate that they need space, then give it to them. Sending a combined Xmas, New Year card is sufficient, no need to text holiday well wishes over and over. It’s actually intrusive. Don’t do it.
