Right Or Happy

In the end does it really matter if you get the last word? The need to be right has to do with ego, so when it comes to your grandkids, get rid of it. Why? Because the cost of being right is too high: losing your grandchild. Remember parents don’t compromise and rarely do they give second chances, they don’t get rid of the problem but instead they get rid of the person. So, next time you feel the need to stand up for yourself and gain the upper hand, maybe stop and take a breath for a moment and then step aside and let the bull charge through.
