Meet The Team
Writing a book is the easy part, assembling and marketing is the hard part. Grand Distance was made possible with the continued help and support of these talented professionals.
Jenny Jensen, editor
I work with authors of every genre but it is a particular pleasure to be involved with a work like Grand Distance. This is a book from the facts of real life, with a real life problem and real life passions. It is Susan’s intent to make the issue more widely understood and to present a sympathetic, reasoned path to solutions that leave me honored to have contributed my skills.
Her contribution: Book interior design, cover alignment-Grand Distance.
After attending the Banff Center Publishing program, and more than 20 years in the publishing industry, I've done most industry jobs, from managing bookstores to book buying for booksellers, small press publishing and book printing. I fell into design and found that I loved it. I've put together books as diverse as the Qu'aran to children's book, poetry to business books, all sorts of fiction and non-fiction titles. I enjoy the challenge of making each book unique, while fitting into the "rules" of making a book look exactly like all other books.
I live in central Alberta with my husband, two teenagers and a menagerie of pets (including fosters). I spend way too much time on my computer, and I love reading fiction on my kindle, but cookbooks must be "real" (aka physical) books.
