Holidays Can Be Tough

Holidays can be tough no matter what, but when a grandparent is no longer allowed to see a grandchild holiday time becomes a dread. Some grandparents are able to at least send gifts, which is somewhat comforting to know that the child understands that they are not forgotten. When grandparents are forbidden to give gifts to grandchildren there are alternatives.....
Toy drives are just about everywhere, orphanages, like Orangewood in Orange County Cal. gladly accept donated gifts and then there's my favorite, World Vision charity gift catalogue. You can purchase anything from a goat to medicine to help kids and communities in need, and it can be done anonymously so that the grandchild receives the donation acknowledgement.
