It's a TV sitcom about a multigenerational family with three grown daughters and grandparents.
Tim Allen stars as the grandfather who is continually stepping over boundaries. The parents and grandpa have opposing styles of childrearing causing problems between the two generations. During a recent episode over a disagreement about letting the kid play dodge ball, the grandma, (Nancy Travis) had a revelation, saying, "As grandparents, we're like people in Pennsylvania without driver's licenses. You don't get a vote. Are you really comfortable with people voting that can't even drive a car? Face it, Mike-- you have no say." She went on to remind him that they need to respect the parenting decisions.
