Is seeing a grandchild one time per month enough? probably not. How often should grandparents visit their grandkids in order to maintain the relationship? as much as possible without crossing parental boundaries. Parents and kids are busy with sports and school activities that sometimes grandparents get left behind. Instead of wishing and hoping and waiting for alone time with the child, grandparents may have to join in to whatever the kids are doing. It means a lot to a child when grandparents attend activities and cheer them on.
