Choices

It can be frustrating when we see our grown children, who are now parents, completely lose themselves in relationships with their spouse. Men become henpecked and wives become docile, and we wonder what happened to those independent spirits that we raised? Whatever the reason, we must tell ourselves it is their choice, they are not prisoners. There is nothing that we can do about it except keep our mouths shut and remain neutral and supportive in order to remain apart of our grandchild’s life.
