Flexibility
Sometimes we have to go with the flow, even when it comes to our grandchildren. The parents don’t always keep agreements, or adhere to the original plan. This is absolutely no reason to get upset, instead make the best of it and go along to get along. it’s not uncommon for a parent to cancel at the last minute, and if they do try to be understanding and offer to be flexible. When they see that u=you don’t pose a threat, they will be more likely to seek a compromise. I’m not saying it doesn’t suck, it does, and you can judge people by the agreements that they make, however, if you want to see the grandkid, then it’s best to accept their flaw.
