Waiting Until They Grow Up

A grandmother recently wrote that her daughter won’t allow her to see the grandkids, and now it’s been two years. She will be relocating and has given up trying, instead she claims that she looks forward to them contacting her once they have grown up. Waiting is the lowest form of living, along with there are no guarantees in life. Depending on the age of the children, they may or may not look for long lost grandparents. Grandparents may want to ask themselves if they have done all things possible to remain connected? One grandma simply sent cards consistently. Others keep tabs on the kids from a distance so that they are the ones who will do the contacting when the time comes. So, waiting may not be such a good idea? The ball is always in your court.
